1. Hermes Agent 故障排查：从日志到配置的完整定位思路

Hermes Agent 是一个开源的终端智能体工具，能读写文件、执行命令、调用浏览器，适合做自动化脚本、代码重构和日常运维。它本身不绑定某一家模型服务，只要提供兼容 OpenAI 或 Anthropic 协议的接口地址和 Key，就能把推理能力接进来。很多人第一次跑起来就卡在“命令找不到”“401 未授权”“工具没启用”这几类问题上，其实九成故障都能靠三样东西定位：hermes doctor的健康报告、~/.hermes/logs/gateway.log的日志尾部、以及~/.hermes/config.yaml的配置骨架。

排查时记住一个原则：Hermes 报错分三层——进程层（命令找不到、Python 版本）、配置层（YAML 解析失败、Key 缺失）、网络层（超时、429、连接拒绝）。先确定错在哪一层，再动手改，比盲目重装快得多。

2. 前置准备：TaoToken 统一 Key 与 Hermes 环境

在动配置之前，先把两件事做掉：拿到可用的 Key，确认 Hermes 能跑起来。

2.1 获取 TaoToken Key 并确认接口地址

登录控制台创建 API Key，路径在 https://taotoken.net/console?utm_source=taotoken_aicg_blog_end&utm_content=console&utm_campaign=rewrite 。创建后复制那串sk-开头的字符串，先存到临时文件里，别直接贴进聊天记录。Key 的权限和额度可以在控制台里随时调整，建议先建一个只用于测试的 Key，跑通后再换正式 Key。

接口基址统一用https://taotoken.net/api，注意这个地址后面不加 UTM 参数，直接写进配置即可。Hermes 里模型供应商字段填openai或anthropic都行，取决于你选的模型走哪种协议；TaoToken 的接口对两种协议都兼容，配置时按模型实际协议填。

2.2 确认 Hermes 安装与 Python 版本

先跑三条命令确认基础环境：

python3 --version which hermes hermes --version

Python 需要 3.9 以上，低于这个版本会在装依赖时报Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement。如果which hermes没输出，说明没装进 PATH，用pip show hermes-agent看安装位置，再把对应 bin 目录加进 PATH。这一步别跳过，后面所有配置都建立在命令能跑的前提下。

3. 可复制配置：config.yaml 与 settings.json 骨架

Hermes 的主配置在~/.hermes/config.yaml，部分版本还会读settings.json。下面这份骨架可以直接抄，改掉 Key 和模型名就能用。

3.1 config.yaml 完整骨架

几个字段说明：base_url指向 TaoToken 的 API 地址，api_key填你刚创建的 Key；provider按模型协议选anthropic或openai；context_length别设太大，本地机器内存有限时设 4096 到 8192 比较稳；terminal.timeout默认 180 秒，跑长任务容易超时，调到 300 秒。

3.2 settings.json 补充配置

有些版本用 JSON 存运行时偏好，放在~/.hermes/settings.json：

注意 JSON 里不能有注释，末尾不能有多余逗号，否则解析直接失败。Windows 下保存时选 UTF-8 无 BOM，否则会报yaml.scanner.ScannerError或 JSON 解析错误。

3.3 环境变量方式（可选）

不想把 Key 写进配置文件，可以用环境变量：

写进~/.bashrc后source一下。这种方式适合多项目共用同一个 Key 的场景，但要注意别把.bashrc提交到 Git。

4. 验证请求：从 doctor 到实际对话

配置写完不算完，得一步步验证。顺序是：配置语法 → 健康检查 → 模型连通 → 工具可用。

4.1 配置语法与健康检查

hermes config check hermes doctor

config check会告诉你 YAML 有没有语法错、必填字段缺不缺。doctor会逐项检查 Python 版本、依赖、配置文件、API Key、网络连通性。如果 doctor 报API key not found，说明 Key 没被读到，检查config.yaml里的api_key字段或环境变量是否生效。

4.2 模型连通性测试

hermes chat -q "你好，请回复一句话"

正常会返回模型的一句话回复。如果报 401，说明 Key 无效或没读到；报 404，说明模型名写错了，用hermes model看可用列表；报超时，先ping taotoken.net确认网络，再检查terminal.timeout是否太短。

也可以直接用 curl 测接口，排除 Hermes 本身的干扰：

返回带content字段的 JSON 就说明接口通了。这一步能快速区分是 Key 问题还是 Hermes 配置问题。

4.3 工具与技能验证

第一条看哪些工具启用了，第二条实际跑一次终端工具。如果报Tool 'terminal' is not available，用hermes tools enable terminal打开，然后/reset重启会话。技能没加载时用hermes skills list看已安装列表，缺的用hermes skills install 技能名补上。

5. 本篇常见错排查：按报错信息对号入座

下面按报错原文归类，每条给出定位命令和修复动作。

5.1 命令找不到与安装失败

报bash: hermes: command not found，先pip show hermes-agent确认装没装。装了但找不到，把用户 bin 目录加进 PATH：

报curl: (7) Failed to connect是下载源连不上，换手动安装：克隆仓库后pip install -r requirements.txt，再用国内镜像pip install -i https://pypi.tuna.tsinghua.edu.cn/simple -r requirements.txt加速。报Permission denied: '/usr/local/bin/hermes'时，用pip install --user hermes-agent装到用户目录，别硬用 sudo。

5.2 配置解析与 Key 读取失败

报yaml.scanner.ScannerError，九成是编码问题。Windows 下用编辑器把config.yaml另存为 UTF-8 无 BOM。报Config file not found，跑hermes setup生成默认配置，或手动mkdir -p ~/.hermes后写入骨架。

报API key not found，按这个顺序查：cat ~/.hermes/config.yaml | grep api_key看字段在不在；echo $ANTHROPIC_API_KEY看环境变量有没有；hermes config path确认读的是哪个文件。三处都查完还没解决，就是 Key 本身失效了，去控制台重新生成。

5.3 网络与限流类错误

报429 Too Many Requests，把agent.max_concurrent_requests从 3 降到 1，或者换一个模型再试。报Request timeout after 180 seconds，把terminal.timeout调到 300 以上，长任务用hermes chat --timeout 600临时加长。

报Connection refused to localhost:8080是本地模型服务没起，ps aux | grep llama-server确认进程，没有就手动启动，再用curl http://localhost:8080/v1/models测端口。这类问题跟 TaoToken 无关，是本地服务的事，别混在一起查。

5.4 工具、技能与网关问题

报Tool execution failed，加--verbose看详细输出，再tail -f ~/.hermes/logs/gateway.log看日志尾部。报Browser launch failed，确认装了 Chromium，或把browser.backend切成local。

网关起不来时，hermes gateway doctor先诊断，再hermes gateway restart。WSL2 下网关随窗口关闭而退出，在/etc/wsl.conf里加[boot] systemd=true，然后wsl --shutdown重启。技能更新失败多半是网络问题，cd ~/.hermes/skills/技能名 && git pull手动拉一次。

5.5 性能与资源占用

响应慢先看是不是模型太大，把model.default换成更小的型号，或开smart_model_routing.enabled。内存占用高时限制context_length到 4096，定期hermes sessions prune --older-than 7清会话，rm -rf ~/.hermes/cache/*清缓存。CPU 持续高时把并发降到 1，本地模型加--n-gpu-layers走 GPU。

6. 长期使用建议与 CTA

跑通之后，建议把配置备份成习惯：cp -r ~/.hermes ~/.hermes.backup.$(date +%Y%m%d)，改坏了能一键回滚。日志开轮转，避免单个文件涨到几百兆。Key 权限最小化，测试用和正式用分开建。
